Grasshopper lane Artworks is a Canadian business based in the West
Kootenays of BC owned and operated by Yvonne Boyd. Each piece of
artwork is individually designed and handcrafted.

My
artwork encompasses many mediums and is rooted in an interest in myth and
the symbolism of images as they relate to the natural world. Among other
mediums I work in paint, stained glass, wood, and tile making images for
faces, windows, floors, doors, and walls.

I
live with my partner and two children in the south-eastern corner of BC in
a small rural community, where we also homestead and manage a family
woodlot.

I
believe the more we surround ourselves with beauty the more we can enjoy
and appreciate ourselves, others and our lives. For this reason I
have concentrated on artwork that can be used, is affordable and tailored
to the individual needs and tastes of my clients. Most of the works
on this site have been commissioned. I look forward to working with
you.
